One day at a time 🌻

Today I was at my favourite Tanja. I always go to her because she’s really good at doing brow lifts, and we talk and have fun during the appointment. So I always look forward to seeing her.

After that I went and bought a new phone for my partner. Not with my own money though, it’s for the company. So it’s a work phone. But I’ve been nagging him for a long time to get a new one because the charging port on his phone has gotten really bad. So it ended up being the new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. I have one too, and at first I felt a bit unfamiliar with it since it’s bigger than the S26+. But now I really like it a lot.

After that i ordered some sushi. I don’t eat fish, so it was just avocado and rice. I’ve never liked fish or seafood. I don’t really know why, I just don’t like the taste. I usually say it’s probably because I was a sea animal once haha, so I don’t want to eat my “friends”.

A little dentist visit on top of that. I don’t like going to the dentist, but they’re really nice so there’s nothing wrong with them. One anaesthetic and a filling later, my mouth is still numb. It feels a bit funny.

The big troll will start 7th grade after the summer and is moving on to a new school. Exciting and a bit nerve-wracking, everything is new. All his classmates are going to one school together, but we chose a school that we think will be good for him. Luckily, one of his friends also got into the same school he will go to, so they’ll have each other. And the little troll will start 2nd grade after the summer. Time really goes so fast.

I almost never get the same hairstylist, it’s always someone new, and I’m always a bit anxious about the first wash. If it was worth it or not. If everything will just curl back up again. that would really suck. So far I’m happy but I can’t really say anything for sure yet.

The downside is my grey hairs. They show so clearly because my hair is so dark. I’ve tried to embrace them, and sometimes I do, but it comes in waves. Right now I feel kind of embarrassed about them and I really don’t want them to be visible.

We were actually all supposed to get the shot, but the trolls get it for free through healthcare, so I’ll have to book appointments for them. My partner backed out he’s afraid of needles so it ended up being just me this time. My arm is a bit sore, but otherwise I feel fine. First shot done 💉✅

We’ve also become a bit obsessed with the idea of finding a camper van. Preferably a smaller one so you can get around easily. Imagine being able to go on a trip this summer if we find one that’s nice, reliable, and reasonably priced. 🚐

On the way home there were some activities in the village a car boot sale and a small festival so we stopped for a bit to check it out. Unfortunately, it started pouring rain, which kind of ruined the vibe. But we managed to grab a “moonlight pizza” from a visiting mobile pizzeria, and it was really good (though expensive). I also bought some roasted almonds with regular sugar and salted cola flavor. So good! 🍕

So, still another successful day. Now it’s almost time for the Eurovision Song Contest, and that’s something you just can’t miss. Go Sweden! 😊🇸🇪

I started off by getting my nails done and honestly… is there anything better than fresh nails? then i had a little brunch at a cozy café, just sitting and enjoying the moment.

After that, it was time for a brow lift with the best Tanja she always delivers, i’m happy every single time.

Now i’m ending the day in the best way: movie night with the family ❤️

The perfect balance between me-time and quality time. 😊

We spent Easter Eve at my parents' and my uncle came to visit. Good food and nice company. 😊

But in the middle of all this, today is still a special day. It’s my partner’s birthday – 33 years old 🎉

It’ll be a bit of a late celebration since he’s working and won’t be home until this evening, but at least a few presents (and cake!) are ready and waiting. Sometimes you just have to make the best of things, even when everyday life feels a bit chaotic.

Today we all went to the movies as a family and watched Hoppers and honestly, what a lovely surprise! Everyone loved it, both kids and adults, which doesn’t always happen. Those moments feel a little extra special.

Earlier this week, on Tuesday, I went to the cinema with a friend and watched Reminders Of Him. A completely different kind of film more quiet and emotional but just as beautiful in its own way. There’s something so comforting about sitting in a dark theater and getting lost in a story for a while.

I really love the contrast between family time and moments just for myself. Easter break has started in the best way 🐣✨
