1 and 15 for all of them!!! >:3 for the trauma ask game
1. What are their parents like?
Charlotte’s was raised by a young single mom who was loving but uninvolved, and she isn’t in particularly close contact with her. She gave her a very cookie-cutter picket fence upbringing, but expected her to move out quickly in adulthood.
Olly’s parents were a bit overbearing, partially due to him being a ‘complicated’ child medically and emotionally. His parents divorced when he was a tween, and he worries to this day that he contributed to the stress that caused it. In adulthood, he keeps his life very secret from them to avoid letting them know how poorly he’s doing, and isolates himself as much as he can.
Dallas was a trailer park kid up until the age of 12 or so. His parents were to the point, and didn’t sugarcoat even when he was very young. They encouraged him to learn practical skills and archery, and were good teachers, but weren’t present emotionally.
Nicole’s parents weren’t present, with her being raised primarily by her older sister. After her motorcycle crash, she pushes her sister away out of guilt for putting responsibility on her.
Stripe’s parents were quite rich, and put a lot of pressure on him to be exceptional. When it became clear that he was not a normal child, they couldn’t figure out how to engage with him. He cut them off entirely in an attempt to define his own identity, stubbornly refusing financial help.
15. Are they neurodivergent?
Charlotte isn’t diagnosed with anything, but likely has OCD, and has some ADHD tendencies
Olly is definitely on the spectrum. He is also diagnosed with bipolar and manages it through medication
Dallas is also not diagnosed with anything, and most of his symptoms stem from depression
Nicole is not neurodivergent in the typical sense, but her amnesia certainly impacts how she functions on a mental level
Stripe has ADHD and is also likely borderline
