every time tumblr changes a feature to look more like a mainstream social media platform (the ”for you” tab which at least doesn’t usually open by default like on twitter, but mainly the new image viewer update that’s rolling out) it’s like. man i hope staff realizes the only reason this platform has survived is because we like the old simplistic ways in which it functions so much that we’ve been willing to put up with a lot of awful updates, but if it becomes twitter 2.0 that patience will prob run out
