I’m a creature of instinct, for sure. I don’t really think before I act and gets me into trouble sometimes, but I try to trust my whim. I want more options of people to be definitely multi-dimensional, very masculine or very feminine. And I wear my personality for sure. You know I get like obsessed with eras and themes and like motifs, so I getup stuffs like blue motifs and then for those couple of months everything is blue; my hair, my clothes. I’m writing songs that feel blue and then I’ll switch and I’ll be blonde […]. I think there’s something really sexy about a lip but I also think it’s really commanding. It means pay attention to what I’m saying. Pay attention to me. Watch me talk. Listen to me talk. It’s like a really important secret weapon.
