It's just a silly idea I had when thinking about Mothwing, but the more I thought about it, the more it kind of made sense. Curlfeather's motivation in her evil schemes was her opinion on StarClan - like Mothwing, she was aware of its existence, but she believed that it played too big of a role in her Clan's life. Her clanmates depended on StarClan way too much, letting some long dead warriors dictate what choises and decisions they should be making. I can see Mothwing agreeing with those views, though she probably would be hesitant to go along with all the murder and scheming... But then again, maybe she could have some leftover bitterness in her after Mistystar exiled her that one time? She also could hold some resentment towards StarClan, since they're pretty much the reason why Willowshine and many other cats died. If it wasn't for the mistake they made by letting Ashfur into paradise many tragedies wouldn't have happened - Willowshine's death being one of them. And so, maybe, with a bit of manipulation and convincing, Mothwing would actually be willing to go along with Curlfeather's plans?
