so according to inclusionists, it is possible to be an ace lesbian bc you’re romantically attracted to women, or bi-ace bc you experience romantic attraction to both genders etc

however when it comes to straight aces the requirements suddenly change, and you have to be both romantically and sexually attracted to the opposite gender to be considered straight

anyone see where I’m going with this?

the double standard is, at best, confusing, and at worst damaging. what applies to one person in terms of identity must apply to another (in this context at least)

if you claim that you have to experience sexual + romantic attraction to the opposite gender to be straight, then by that logic you also have to experience sexual + romantic attraction to the same gender to be considered gay/bi
