AITAH for kidnapping my coworker?

I (36 M) kidnapped my (21 M) coworker to save him from himself and teach him confidence.

The kid is a wet mop walking. I watched him eat a day old burger just because a dick with arms told him to and this kid would rather die than tell someone with his full chest to fuck off.

I decided to take him on a joy ride of sorts. I made him visit his ex girlfriend (he said she broke up with him cuz’ her cat died…are U fuckin serious?) and tell her what’s what, but of course he’s too kind and the whole ordeal was a sappy mess. Then we took a visit to his elementary school to get the address of his cyclops 3rd grade teacher…don’t ask…

Anyway, his old teacher turns out to be a stuck up old broad who doesn’t know how to keep her nose outta other folks’ business.

Long story short, I’m on the run now. Some shit happened.

So…am I the asshole for kidnapping my coworker?

OP is leaving out crucial context. During all this, he came into the diner where I work, verbally degraded me and then came back later and shot me. Kidnap a twink, take him on a traumatic road trip, that's your business, but I think it says a lot about your character that you chose to omit your mistreatment of service workers, clearly the most assholish thing you did that day. Very telling that you left that out to avoid getting hit with the YTA judgement.

And for the record, I'd already heard that Brady Bunch reference three times that week. Not only did I have to pretend you were uniquely funny and original, you shot me in the fucking leg. YTA

My headcanon for Merlin is that he'll randomly drop insane lore and refuse to elaborate. It never fails to freak people out. Even those who know about his magic

Some examples:
