i want attention but im also deathly afraid of getting attention so im stuck in a constant loop of trying to be outgoing and isolating + berating myself almost immediately after. :’)

It’s like there’s no way for me to trust anyone and I constantly check and search for proofs that people are betraying me in some way? and the saddest about it is I’m never surprised when it actually happens, I know already who did it and what they did, so I just sit and feel proud for being right, although deep down I guess I wish I could’ve been wrong for once.

treating your dpd with therapy is one thing but dealing with your family members who are watching you recover is a whole another story. you have people who are supposed to be supportive of you telling you that you are not yourself anymore, that you've become "bossy" (when you're really just speaking your mind), that you used to be so obedient etcetc. it's like they're not receiving the person that is better for yourself and it's so tiring. it's like they'd rather see you depressed and anxious all the time instead of just trying to understand what you are going through.

The most frustrating thing is having an FP that you aren’t dating and don’t share a romantic infatuation with. You develop a dependency but have to remember that they have a life and a relationship with a whole other person.
