hate-rewatching Army of the Doomstar and going "he wouldn't fucking say that" every 5 seconds

and while im at it i was real pissed about Murdermade's late series character too. Season one, he was actually fucking brutal, and he had genuine fans and was treated as an equal (or at least, close to it.), (watch birthdayface.), and now he's just the punching bag. i can't believe im saying this but they totally meg-ified him. he's now there just to "be the bass player" and have every joke about him be about the fact he's ugly and that women are repulsed by him (more for me i guess lmao) i related a lot to s1 (MAYBE s2), murderface and had this weird sense of comfort with him (such as his experience/gratification with anything self mutilating and enthusiasm about history), but of course they had to get lobotomized and now he's just as obnoxious as everyone else, even somehow forgets how to play bass because in Dethsiduals, Skwisgaar tells him he "creates his own bass lines", because i guess the greatest bass player ever is a shit-for-brains cant do anything for himself kind of guy. which is dumb. Not to mention the episode Dethvanity where Murderface discovers blackpill (not LITERALLY, but close to), and it just felt so obnoxious. i liked his monologue about how he hated himself and i felt it hard. the doomstar requiem was a beacon of hope with his late-season writing though. i kind of liked doomstar requiem Murderface...okay...rant over. point made.
