Lack of confidence may not be the first idea to describe why you struggle with anxiety.
However, if you think about a moment or situation that made you most anxious, can you see that somewhere in that situation your confidence was not at its highest?
Avoiding all events, situations and relationships that cause you to face parts of yourself that youβd rather avoid doesn't actually help you, in the long run you just continue the spiral into negative thought patterns.

Confidence is a feeling of self-assurance that comes from you appreciating your own abilities or qualities.
Without having positive views of who you are and what you bring to the table you allow room for any thought to come in and diminish your own values and self-worth for yourself.
In other words, your confidence is fueled by the way you view yourself, it stems from your mindset. What are the words that you are constantly telling yourself?
This can be hindering in every area of your life because if you donβt believe in yourself, how can you will never believe that anyone can believe in you.
How do you ask for the promotion you want?
How do you go after the lifestyle that you deserve if you can't see yourself worthy of being there?
How do you get the relationship you dream of?
How do you even dream of the best for yourself if you don't think the best of yourself?
Your lack of confidence is a top reason why you are afraid to put yourself in situations that make you uncomfortable because you donβt know you're worth.
You are able to sit at any table with anyone and be worthy of conversation as long as you think you are. No one is more deserving or worthy than you are. No one is more beautiful than you are. You are uniquely and wonderfully made and there is no mistake in who you are.
Don't allow anyone, even yourself to stop you from receiving all that is yours in this world.
