Sahl ibn Sa’d reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The believer is friendly, for there is no good in one who is not friendly or befriended.”

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The believer is the mirror of another believer.”

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “One holding fast to my Sunnah while my nation is in conflict is like one grasping a hot coal.”

Abu Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to touch our shoulders in the prayer rows, saying, “Be straight and not disjointed, lest your hearts conflict. Let the people of wisdom and prudence be next to me, then those after them, then those after them.” Abu Mas’ud said, “Yet, today you have become most severe in conflict.”

Al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pass through the prayer rows from one side to the other, setting their chests and shoulders in order. The Prophet would say, “Let not your hearts conflict,” and the Prophet would say, “Verily, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the first rows.”

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Pay the worker his wages before the sweat dries from his brow, and inform him of his wages as he is working.”

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah is pleased with three things for you, and He is displeased with three things for you. He is pleased for you to worship Him without associating anything with Him, to hold fast to the rope of Allah altogether, and to give sincere advice to those in charge of your affairs. He is displeased for you to gossip, to waste wealth, and to ask many frivolous questions.”

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the best of men are slow to anger and quick to be appeased, and the most evil of men are quick to anger and slow to be appeased.”

Ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Two ferocious wolves in a pen of sheep, devouring and destroying, are not as harmful than the love of high status and wealth are to the religion of a Muslim.”
