I love this. WHAT IT IS

This track on Blackbird Cathedral's "In the Eaves" was, in truth, the first Prototaph composition. Its conception was based on the (imagined) idea of life and sound at the bottom of an ocean and was mostly soft layers of improvised sound-design. I think the dark, ambient nature of the track fit in perfectly with the vision and direction of BbC, but it was a solo effort on my part and we never (yet) tried to reproduce it in a live setting as a band. Who knows, it may yet see additional life at some point. In any case, I've always loved the distorted rumblings and electronic twinkles--and especially the garbled cassette tape vocals at the end.
