So, in the last few tanks of gas in my vehicle I have noticed a drop off in mileage per gallon (and I just did my 150k mile check and no issues) and I am well aware that E15 has been rolling out around the country due to the US's idiotic attack on Iran. And I only fill up at Costco, where the labels have indicated no increase past the E10 they've had for a while. Well, I have an older vehicle and anything above E10 will damage it and I DO NOT want that. So I called customer support and they gave me corporate's number and I called corporate.
Costco IS experimenting with rolling out E15 to select markets in the midwest. But they said they have updated signage on the pumps where they have done so.
So, I have to look into other reasons for the drop in mileage but if you also fill up at Costco and you haven't looked at the ethanol content notice on the pump in a while, it is time to do so.
