I am not an addict or something. I am not a danger to society. Just the word “Drugs” plural is used to instill hate. And stokes arguments based on its back-and-forth verbiage in everyday societal dialogue. The world doesn’t know what I it wants when it comes to Drugs. Since I was 11 years old I played football. Many head collisions. Many concussions. To assume I am a drug addict that randomly got into it because I wanted to experience A HIGH? Or get stoned? A). Is wrong. B). Is missing context and jumping to conclusions. C). Is violating my human rights and discriminating me because I want drugs. Because to assume someone is on drugs because they want to have fun is also a Non-issue. Who are you to stop someone from having a good time? Who are you to judge someone because they seek a particular drug?You aren’t in their life to begin with. What do you know what they are doing on a daily basis? They could have a lot of pain truly needing the drug more than anybody. Yet, we stop people daily from obtaining what will make them happy.

There’s always been misconceptions about drug addicts. Like, as if they’re addicts to begin with. We see someone in rehab, we think they’re an addict. We see someone’s at the Methadone Clinic, they must be a bad Junkie. No, they are not.

  Lots have used Heroin. Some of them never touched Heroin. Only pills. Painkillers. They are hospital patients. They have probably been on morphine/Steroids for decades. To treat an old surgery they had 30 years ago. Or a broken bone.

  My pain primarily stems from having root canals in my mouth/teeth since I was 8 years old. Basically, society Is ignoring a patient who needs care because Society is an ignorant follower of big government.

  Most people have no idea what a real drug-addicted criminal looks like. Most times, when people label addicts, the first thought in their mind is ”Homeless” “Diseases”, “leprosy”,  “Criminal”. Those that DON’T USE live a very filtrated/scared life. For lack of a better term.

  They haven’t felt what it’s like to put $50 Grand worth of Heroin up their nose. Just chock it up to ignorance. Ignorance comes in many forms. One of which is lack of education.

  Another form of ignorance comes in lacking experiences in life and not meeting enough people. Staying home everyday for 20 years can tend to shut you off from society. You don’t meet anybody.  Therefore, you have no frame of reference except your own self. Which is not much to begin with. Rendering you not very wise on a topic that requires you know what you talk about.

  You wanna change the world, fix the human condition? You’d better have experience. Otherwise, you’re giving people false information. That’s generally every topic. Not just drug use.
