though leb is very close, especially with her wish to run away from her prison of a life

she's always facing away from us/the window into reality/screen. maybe she feels powerless about the situation she's in and she can't do anything so she started acting up in school to try and get attention, make someone notice that something is wrong but she never could really bring herself to say it or nobody believed her. and she also took to internet.

and idk her making up a disease and putting it in all of her homework sounds like a kid not knowing how to cope, how to tell something is wrong, so they make up shit, so adults can come and ask what's wrong? but all they do is put her in detention like she did something wrong

and like i only thought about it because of that one goodkid post that says Pat is a criminal. that they "have family" who used to be neighbors of hers. she witnessed Amber being abused, hence the red Amber thing, though nobody takes abuse like that seriously when kids bring it up, they just say you should suck it up and help your parents who oh so generously took care of you - now it's your turn. she could also be simply afraid to speak up.

but her mother was assaulted by Pat, too

and that probably didn't go as quiet as Amber's abuse. though I wouldn't be surprised if Pat still didn't face any consequences

I'm not sure about the whole amber pin stuff though... maybe Amber is somehow related to Rebecca and Joe? maybe Joe is the father of both Grace and Amber. and from experience parents tend to hate children from previous relationships and take the anger and shame they feel out on them a lot

and Grace felt like Amber had all these people who should help her, who instead treated her like shit, even though she didn't ask to be born (mother who sees her daughter as a reminder of past mistakes, father who doesn't care, father's new woman who hates that he had a family before her)

and maybe saw her scared, saw her hurt, and saw her cleaning after the abuse. covering her bruises that were as big as islands on Amber's skin. but Amber always came back, acting like everything is okay, even if she could hardly move a few hours ago

also that one scene with Amber and Holland where Holland straight up leaves, babies tend to pick up how people act towards others and if you're being disrespected by everyone around you, the baby will also grow up to disrespect you as a result (again, speaking from experience)

most likely I'm now missing something that would contradict all my thoughts, but I didn't see anyone theorizing that goodkid might not be Amber yet, so I wanted to get it out of my system

and while on the subject, I also thought it could be possible that Rebecca is goodkid, posing as a kid to throw people off (maybe using her daughter's account? the "teenaged kid" bit seems fishy lol. as well as the sweet and angelic mommy comment, which could be sarcastic, but it could also be. y'know. the mom in question writing this), talking about worker degeneration under the guise of "a made up sickness", calling Pat out, and basically the only evidence I can come up with for this could be color red - the profile pic - the color Pat sees as striking in Rebecca, her writing being rather mature (though kids still are able to use big words and pretty sentences), and of course the call-out. she's also the only one to stare straight at the camera on the character screen I believe. maybe she wants to get back at Pat for what she's done to her, and she knows about the abuse of Amber, so she tries to bring more people to see the "other side" of 3dwiscr. though idk if it's as plausible as the Grace theory. both aren't ideal tbh and probably far from right
