A fetus’s personhood is debatable, but ultimately irrelevant. No person’s right to life supersedes another’s bodily autonomy.

And yes, pregnancy is a potential consequence of some kinds of sex. But abortion is a way of dealing with that consequence. The man has the say if he’s the one pregnant.

Pregnant people have the right to decide if their pregnancy is continued or terminated for the same reason organ and blood donations are voluntary. Their bodily autonomy would be violated if they had no choice.
