Sitting there thinking about the fact that Sam is so... so soft towards Dean. Sometimes it's played for laughs like the placating way he tells him he'll get to use the grenade launcher another day, but it still goes straight to my heart. Like holy shit he cares so much. He observes every little thing about Dean and it's not exactly that he's prying — well, except during the Benny situation — but he wants to know, and every time he learns a new little fact about Dean he's so delighted, even soulless he gets all giddy watching Dean take care of Bobby-John, he knows all of Dean's music, his movies, the ones he says he loves best and the ones he actually loves best, his favorite actresses and his favorite girls he hooked up with, his favorite food, his silly dreams, he stores all of this in his mind and he holds it all so tenderly and if Dean would let him I just know Sam would hold him for hours and craddle his head in his hands and take care of him so gently

Absolutely a sucker for the “ARE YOU HURT” once over. The wandering hands, frantically checking for blood or pain just SOMETHING. ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED of what they might find while searching. The panicked look on the face of the person doing the checking, the glossy, confused “I’m fine” from the person being checked. HOO BOY just inject that shit right into my veins
