The Princess and the Knight

((Indie Marx ask/role-play blog. Please read the about and rules before interacting! Mun is very new to this. He apologizes in advance.))

Galacta Knight had initially focused on the elder sisters, but his eyes flickered over to Mint, who already fell asleep. He let out a laugh in amusement as Trireme looked on, amusement in her eyes. Well, that left one thing to deal with. “Well, she’s a kid. She needs rest,” Galacta Knight mused, before he nodded, “There’s a spare bedroom for you all to rest in. We’ll have to get extra beds but it should be okay.” “I can head out tomorrow to get extra blankets and pillows,” Trireme leaned back, letting out a quiet yawn that she covered her mouth with. 

“I don’t think the cots at the homeless shelter count, do they?” Cinnamon quipped.

The more Galacta Knight listened to the lot of them, the more he realized that they definitely needed a place to stay. Cots? A real bed? Man, he was going to lend them his bed at this rate. “Man, okay, let’s take you to my room. I can lend you it. I prefer the couch anyway, and no worries aboutt he blood that’s what towels are for.” As Galacta Knight hopped off to help Vanilla down to take them to the bedroom, Trireme got up to take the soiled towels and toss them away to wash later and grab extra pillows and blankets. “How’s your wing?” Galacta Knight asked.

Princess Trireme would NEVER know what Galacta Knight had really been up to. She was gone for the week, he wasn’t sure where (probably the Mirror World, heaven knows he told her that place is bad news but he respected her attachment to the place), which meant he was totally up to no good.In his arms as he rushed up to the front door of the house he and Trireme have rented was a bundle of fur. He’d heard rumors about how there was a rare brown furry creature with large ears wandering about that would cost a penny on the marker, and while Galacta Knight wasn’t one to really go underground or do anything really code breaking, he did want to beat the others to the punch before the fluffy thing was skinned alive.He hated doing such a thing, but as he shut the door to his room and put the thing on the floor of his messy bedroom, he stared at it for a long moment, before poking it with his gloved hand.

“Huh, that is pretty interesting. Well… our species always had a preference towards spicy, but it helps you get used to it after awhile,” Trireme explained, as she peered into the overn to pull out the quiches and poke them.  “Looks like they’re done! I can tell you about the Anthilopus civilization over breakfast. Galacta Knight?!” There was a pause as Trireme called out, and she heard grunting before the puff entered the kitchen, yawning. “Yea, I’m here. I’ll clean up after breakfast.”

Rind put on a begging face, lowering her tall ears and gazing up with her green eyes, her tail wagged slightly.

“Morning!” Galacta Knight perked up at the sight of Rind as the two of them sat at the table. Galacta Knight was tempted to invite her up on the table but he knew Trireme wouldn’t approve. Still, he cut part of his piece onto a spare plate and put it down. He figured she was hungry. Trireme watched, amusement in her eyes. “So what do we need to do today?” She asked. Galacta Knight leaned back and took a deep breath. “At some point I need to go into town and help train. Since they like how versatile i am and how much I know, I’m probably gonna be hired as a trainer for swordplay. Though with that hunter around…”

They didn’t see that, did they?

“That hunter is gonna complicate things...” Trireme trailed off as she played with her food, slowly eating it compared to the more voracious appetite of the puff knight. Still, she wasn’t sure how she could go about outside with him around. She could handle a fight, but what about Rind and Galacta Knight? “It should be okay. I know I can handle a little hunter,” Galacta Knight boasted, before he finished his food and leaned back, “Man, delicious and spicy, how I like it.” “Thanks,” Trireme giggled in response before she looked down at Rind, smiling, “If it okay for you?”

Yeah, so instead of writing responses cause I’m a lazy nerd, I decided to update my mun pages in my accounts and updated my rules pages. Nothing too big just a little stipulation.  I notice I’m more picky on my COTND blogs than I am on the Kirby blogs but aaah well.

Other puffs were a rarity. A commodity. Feathered puffs were even rarer, at least from what he had seen. He had his own reservations about actually taking this puff, but either way, Kasi was now ripped from her home and now taken by the knight puff?Why? Galacta Knight couldn’t explain that little detail even if he tried. There wasn’t much time to explain anyway. So spontaneous and without thinking, Galacta KNight took the puff and flew off, before he could explain the fact that both of them were in serious trouble from an entity which wasn’t keen on puffs being… you know, alive.Galacta Knight hid in a cave at Nature Notch, the only place he knew that was safe, at least in his eyes before he glanced behind him at the other puff.Boy, he was in a lot of trouble.

At least before everything went wrong. They looked so happy. Even Trireme looked happy. Now her personal photo had eyes that conveyed regret and sadness.  “Okay, I got some metal!” Galacta Knight called out from the basement, grunting as he shuffled up the stairs and through the door.

“Oh? Alright, now what?” Kasi asked.

Galacta Knight didn’t even realize that Kasi had been looking around as he started to pile the broken pieces on the table, along with some metal. He’d gotten a little into the idea f working on something with his long lost daughter, he didn’t think to ask if she had looked at some of the pictures… not unless she asked first. He then grabbed the soldering tool. “We just need a flame hot enough to melt metal and we can start to glue it back together. It’s a careful process, though,” Galacta Knight explained. 

She was still looking around to get used to her surrounding, her eyes occasionally flickering like a candle, turning her heat vision on and off over again for some reasons.

Galacta Knight focused on being able to weld the pieces together. He wasn’t the best at fine tuning anything, but either way, Kasi was helpful enough to get the metal to melt and he was able to put the piece back together. It wasn’t perfect, but it’ll do. As soon as the work was done, Galacta Knight leaned back, grinning at his accomplishment. “Well there you go, we did something together.” Galacta Knight glanced outside, noticing the rain that was initially pouring now eased to a drizzle, and there were distant booming of thunder. The puff took a deep breath, wondering. “You have a home, right? I should probably take you back once the storm rolls over.”
