hmmm, ngl I never even thought about designing an astral imprint for him. but if he had one I'd say it'd be like... a giant scythe cuz ya know. his infamous title of Reaper of The Oasis. And it'd be like... dragon and celestial themed and would match his clothing's colors of royal blue, black and gold. With shimmery stars near the bottom of the hilt maybe???

I'll try to sketch the idea I have for it one day, but for now I'm just gonna stick with how I normally have him fight during our RPs: his entire body is his weapon lmao

The Basics. Name: Azhdaha Durion Aydin. Aliases: He Who Devours The Stars, The Abyssal Dragon, The Sun-Sworn Brother. Sex: Male. Sexuality: Polyamorous with strong preference for men. Age: 37. Family: Acambe (younger brother), Princess Krysta (sister-in-law), Prince Shams (sworn blood brother), multiple nieces and nephews. Birth Tarots: The Tower (Major Arcana), King of Swords (Minor Arcana). Faction: Elaman. Job: Prince Shams' Bodyguard, The Reaper of The Oasis, and The Master Trainer of The Sunfire Corps. Azhdaha's duties involve him getting his hands dirty, protecting the people he loves/has sworn fealty to, as well as "taking care of business" for Prince Shams away from the public eye. He did have a history of committing numerous war crimes during his self-exile in the desert, but his slate was wiped clean when the Prince took him in. Azhdaha is not above doing things most would consider wicked, in order to protect his loved ones. Personality: A jerk with a hidden heart of gold. A prickly pear, if you will. Compassionate, amiable, and loyal towards his family and Prince Shams. Guarded, ornery and aloof towards everyone else. Will be the most loyal companion one could ever ask for once his trust is earned. Morality: Lawful Evil. Long, flowing black hair with amber highlights. Golden eyes that glow in the dark; the pupils are vertical slits, similar to a dragon's. He's buff, tall, and tanky AF, with a happy trail that runs from his belly button down to his pubic region; has a light amount of body hair on his arms and legs. Has razor sharp fangs and claws due to his curse. Permanent golden curse marks on his forehead and the ends of his eyes. Forehead marking is a symbol of the Sun. Eye markings are double stripes. When he experiences intense emotions like anguish, rage, or limerence, his dragon horns are revealed. Horns visual ref.

History. Azhdaha is the elder brother of Acambe. Azhdaha's always been protective of Acambe since their youth. Having endured quite a lot together growing up, their bond is unbreakable. Born to a typical merchant family, the Aydin brothers were expected to work hard to become national merchants. Such high expectations placed upon them proved vexing, but being each others' emotional support made it bearable. When the day finally came where they were recognized as worthy of becoming part of the Great Hashah's rank of National Merchants, the brothers were taken to the palace to begin their work. One fateful evening, however, would end in turmoil and conflict between them, and change both their lives drastically. Azhdaha was on his way to his personal suite, when he overheard Lukamar discussing her true plans for the Aydins: she never intended on freeing them.

This revelation angered Azhdaha! He wasted no time in telling Acambe what he'd overheard. However, Acambe didn't believe him. Azhdaha pleaded for his brother not to follow through with accepting Lukamar's contract, but the younger sibling would hear none of it. After all, they'd worked most of their lives for this--- It'd be foolish to throw it all away. Acambe, in a mix of anger, fear, and confusion, declared Azhdaha a traitor to the family, denounced him as his brother, and the two parted ways. Heartbroken, Azhdaha left the palace and the city altogether, becoming a nomad of the desert. During his years alone, Azhdaha would loot ancient ruins and tombs, rob rival bandits of their food and kill them, burn down enemy camps, along with other crimes that gained him infamy to the point where people would fear traversing the desert without protection, lest they risk crossing paths with him and losing their lives... One day, Azhdaha came across the tomb of an nameless king, whose treasures were hexed. When Azhdaha stole the Abyssal Dragon Amulet, he was permanently cursed. It granted him great power, but at the cost of slowly draining his life force. From that day onward, Azhdaha would become known as He Who Devours The Stars, The Abyssal Dragon. No longer could he survive on normal human food. The only sustenance his body would accept now was souls, blood, and fresh beating hearts. Carnage followed in his wake. History, cont'd. It wouldn't be long before rumors of a malevolent entity was haunting the Great Desert spread like wildfire among the denizens of the Oasis and beyond. This news would finally reach Acambe's ears, who, upon being told the physical description of this entity, would recognize that this "entity" was actually his brother. Griefstricken by what had become of his brother, Acambe desperately reached out to anyone willing to help. Following leads to his brother's whereabouts, assisted by the mercenary guild of Convallaria, Acambe discovered a bloodstained Azhdaha among the ruins of the very tomb that cursed him. A battle ensued after an emotionally-driven verbal exchange between them, but Acambe ultimately succeeded in getting through to the Dragon Lord.

After a teary reunion, Acambe introduced Azhdaha to his wife Princess Krysta, and invited him to join the caravan, which Azhdaha gladly accepted. While there was no cure for Azhdaha's curse, Acambe and Krysta would help him learn how to control his powers, and they made life as peaceful as possible for him. Eventually, Azhdaha's infamy from his time spent in self-exile had caught the attention of Prince Shams. Rather than execute the man for his crimes, since he never killed innocents and only went after criminals and bandits--- a good number of them having bounties on their heads--- Shams offered to pardon Azhdaha of all his crimes and assign him as his right-hand man, in exchange for his loyalty, and to help train the Sunfire Corps. Azhdaha would agree to this, having secretly sworn fealty to the Prince years ago. The Dragon Lord would become known as Prince Shams' strongest warrior, His Sun-Sworn Brother. He would accompany the Prince in war, and purge the Great Hashalaram of its enemies from within the shadows...

This is Soraya, one of the RP NPCs I created for an adventure SoC RP I recently finished writing with my friends! Soraya is a unique Elaman mystic who shares some draconic traits with my SoCsona Azhdaha. Shams and co.'s first encounter with this mysterious woman began in her shop at the bazaar, where she gifted Shams an enchanted cloak.

Soraya eventually joined the party, proving herself an invaluable member. She did develop a crush on Azhdaha, who didn't reciprocate since he was more concerned about keeping his brother Acambe and their Prince safe, but he tolerated her presence and, in time, he warmed up to her and saw her as a younger sister.
