Each participant will be assigned to create a gift for someone, and will receive a gift in turn. Gifts may be fic (at least 2000 words), art (at least 1 drawing/edit), gifset (at least 3 gifs), fanmix (at least 8 songs), or fanvid (at least 2 minutes or a full length song).
Assignments will be anonymous - please have your ask box set to receive anonymous asks in case your gift creator has any questions for you!
Gifts may not be created using generative AI.
As this is a femslash exchange, all works must have as their main focus a romantic and/or sexual relationship between two or more of the women of Roswell, New Mexico.

Autistic character month is a writing/art challenge starting on the first of April 2026. You can participate with writing and art about autistic characters (canonically autistic, or autistic to you; original characters are allowed as well). There are two prompts for each day. You can use just the first prompt, just the second prompt, or both, or replace one of them (or both) with a bonus prompt. You don't have to fill all the prompts / participate every day to participate in the challenge.
You can add your work to the collection on Ao3, tag your tumblr posts about/with your work as #autistic character month 2026, and tag me into your posts directly, and I will reblog them.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
You can find the prompts (as well as additional, more specific, ideas about them!!) below the cut.
For each day, the first prompt is an "autism prompt", and the second prompt (given in bold) is a "general prompt" (sometimes this distinction may seem quite vague). All the "bonus ideas" listed below are more specific interpretations of the "autism prompt"; you may use any of them as a point of inspiration if you like, but you may obviously write about any other different interpretation of the "autism prompt" as well.
Special interest + Music (bonus ideas: infodumping; intense cycles of special interests; sharing a special interest)
Communication difficulties + Intrigue (bonus ideas: not being understood; social cues, eye contact, volume control)
Proprioception & dyspraxia + Sportsball (bonus ideas: not noticing injury; autistic athletes with higher proprioception)
Meeting another autistic person (for the first time) + Childhood (bonus ideas: undiagnosed character (who doesn't know much about autism) meets a diagnosed character, struggles to understand why they click so well; 5 + 1 (or 3 + 1) reasons character A suspects character B is autistic (character A could be autistic themself and seeing parallels); autistic child meets an autistic adult for the first time; meeting someone with the same special interest)
