Bunny Love-Daily

tried to open the trashcan, and managed to successfully do so. She stuck her paw in-between the lid and the lip and nudged the lid up with her nose. :O

This morning, Silky was feeling well enough to be held!

We trimmed her unevenly shaved fur and now she looks prettier than ever!

Mr. Scissors and Silky have gotten really close over the past few weeks!

They love lounging together after a meal!

He especially loves her butt on his back lmao xD

They love laying really close to each other, but it’s taking some time to warm up to the humans

They groom each other and have totally forgotten about us T^^^^^T\\\*cries!

Mr. Scissors? He’s a dutch rabbit! And he’s grey and white ~

The babies used to have a white rug, but it was constantly getting visibly dirty, so we replaced it with a patterned rug!

And whenever the boyfriend is a little bit late coming back from work, Mr. Scissors waits patiently by the hallway.

And here is Mr. Scissors in a mid-stretch during his daily afternoon nap!

They love kissing each other and licking each other’s backs on the daily!

After they finish licking, they love to cuddle with each other!(❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*

They’re making so much progress day by day! They used to sit 5 ft apart and now he’s cleaning her when she’s dirty!

And after he’s done grooming her, he just lays down beside her. ((((♡∀♡)))*

Mr. Scissors and Madam Silky have made so much bonding progress in just 3 days!!! The first day was chasing and humping, and the second day was sitting moodily apart, but today, they were kissing each other!! It seems like they’ve decided to get along! (*⌒▽⌒*)θ～♪wwwwwggwwwwawww..’‘

He really enjoys licking her face and ears! She just sits there and lets him do it.

Madam Silky and Mr. Scissors bonding meals! They’re coming really far along in their bonding! Mr. Scissors even grooms Silky’s ears while she’s eating!

Princess Silky is allowing her loyal servant a bite of food.

Cilantro is Madam Silky’s favorite, out of all the greens. Mr. Scissors doesn’t care, he just eats everything.

This is so cute, I can’t even words.

OM NOM NOM NOM, breakfast is the best meal of the day.

If you can, what you SHOULD do, is look up the nearest bunny shelter or rescue and adopt from there! The rescues usually have spayed or neutered the bunny (#WIN because that way you don’t have to pay surgery cost), and the adoption fee is going to a good cause (helping the other homeless bunnies there).

Pet stores need to get rid of their bunnies ASAP (probably because breeders dump them there), so they usually charge a really low price ($25 - $40). That looks appealing, but those bunnies aren’t spayed or neutered, so either be prepared to pay the surgery cost, or live with them peeing/humping on everything around puberty. As for Craigslist bunnies, those are also (usually) listed by breeders trying to sell their “rejected” bunnies. They may even try to sell you two or 3 at once, just to offset the cost of raising them. Don’t fall for this. It can be animal cruelty if you’re not ready to take on so many bunnies at once.

Silky was very nervous about coming out of her cage, but Mr. Scissors helped her to not be afraid!

He would also nudge her booty out the cage door if she stood by the entrance too long. I hope Silky’s wonderful fur will grow back soon! (We had to shave her because the mats in her fur were literally weighing her down).

And OMG look at this x3 cuteness!!!! The boyfriend laid down to get a closer look, and now all 3 of my favorite things are in one photo! I hope there will be many more happy moments like this!
