“I’d hardly consider the doubt in your voice to be rightly deserved. It definitely works.”

“Well, then.. i’ll let you do the honors then.”

“You’re just saying that, aren’t you?”

“No, it actually does work.”

“I kinda wasn’t looking for a kinda kind of answer, but alright.”

“Sorry to disappoint.

“ You think? ” Lorcan asked, checking his dress robes out in the mirror on the back of his dorm room door. Daisy had been the only person in the common room when he was having a wardrobe crisis, and it’s not as though Travers would have given him sincere advice on this. “ I’m a little unsure about the tie.. It’s too bright.”

Daisy nodded her head as she looked at the boy. “It’s not that bad, I really do like bowties.” she said. 

‘ i bloody bought it, of course it does! ’

“But what exactly is it?”

“Yeah, i suppose it is.” agreed annabeth with a small smirk on her face. “So, are you writing anything interesting?” asked the ravenclaw and her eye sparkled with interest.

“No, no.. i’m still on the topic of muggles.” She told her friend with a small grin on her lips. “Properly almost finished the most of the first few chapters.”

   ⚡  “Your blood status - or lack there of - has to do with everything.” She mirrored the other girl’s stance, arms crossing her chest. “Right, you’re a human and I am a wicked, wicked witch. The sooner you horrible people realize you don’t belong here, the better. Don’t–” she broke off, chuckling slightly. “What are you going to do about it? Dance me to death?”

It did make her angry, why were people so against her blood status it didn’t change who she was as a person. “You are, you a wicked evil person.” Daisy snapped back, taking in a deep breathe she couldn’t let this girls words get to her. “No, i’m not but i know for a fact i’m much better than you pureblood scum who will be kicked off your high horse by someone like, myself.” she said with an eyeroll

He looked towards her and smiled, or at least attempted to. Giving her a nod to say that he knew that she was there for him.  He just couldn’t quite bring himself to speak quite yet. Laying his head on her shoulder, he silently let the tears roll down his face, knowing that at least with Daisy he could always be himself. It just bothered him that he couldn’t even feign bravery in front of her at this moment.  Eventually taking a deep breath, he couldn’t lift his eyes to hers to speak, but instead looked at the floor.  The memory of hogmede still strong is memory, he knew it had been them or at least people of the same beliefs who had taken his aunt. “Dais…”  he whispered, with a quivering lip. “I think they killed her….my aunt”

Daisy listened to him speak as she still couldn’t help but worry. When she had heard the words past his lips as she couldn’t help but cringe at the words. “Oh blake.” she breathed as she had pulled into in tightly for a hug as she held back the tears from her own eyes. She knew how much his family meant to him and hearing that, it did kill her. “You don’t know that, she could still be alright. She doesn’t need you thinking negativity.” 

“I did exercise for years though my creative flow is pretty dead” joked the girl, though she was telling the truth. “My cousin once had tried to show me how to do the basic ballet moves and I ended up with a sprained ankle!”

Daisy couldn’t help but laugh gently as she shock her head. “Thats why I gave it up for writing, plus it’s also good to just move around a room freely and let some nervous energy out.”

“I swear, it’s true! It’s even official and everything.” Laughing, Charlie nodded and pulled her friend over to sit next to her on the edge of the dock. “We’re a couple, he’s my… my boyfriend.” Charlie was practically glowing, her smile breaking her face in two. “He’s my boyfriend, Dais.”

Daisy listened as she couldn’t help but smile brightly but very happily for her friend. “Charlie! i’m so excited for you!” she told her friend as she brought her into a hug. “You and Topher are great together!”

  ⚡  “That’s where you’re wrong. I do own the castle, not by buying these dusty old crumbling castle walls, but by birth right. Do you know who doesn’t own this castle? Dirty little half bloods. Oh wait, that’s you.” She stepped further into the room. “Sure, everyone has the freedom to express themselves, but some people shouldn’t. Also you.”

Daisy watched the girl before she raised her eyebrow. “Whats my, blood status gotta do with any of this?” she snapped with her arms over her chest. “I’m sick, i’m sick of being pushed around by you horrible people. I’m a human, I belong in this castle. Dont you dare feed me any of that.”

“He does, but I mostly steal his because they’re the only ones that almost fit. You should see Toph’s sweaters on me, they go to my knees. Same with Caradoc. I guess that’s what I get for being so tiny.” Laughing softly, Charlie pursed her lips. “I guess I should stick to stealing Topher’s seeing how he’s my boyfriend now.”

Daisy listened before she let out a small laugh. “Really! Your not playing with me now Charlie because you know that I love both you and Topher.” she said before an excited grin cralwed onto her face. “Does this mean we can do boy talk and stuff?”

“I had no idea you knew how to dance.” remarked Annabeth being a bit impressed. Maybe the fact that she was born with two left feet made her appreciate anyone who was able to dance. People had tried to show her, but it was in vain. She failed to recreated even the most basic moves. 

“My parents put me in dance classes until I was nine.” Daisy explained with a small shrug of her shoulder. “It’s just something I like to do when I need some motivation.. it’s proven that exercise is important for creative flow.”

  ⚡  Muffled sounds coming from a room down the hall piqued Bellatrix’s interest. Stopping in the door frame, the Slytherin watched in amusement, chuckling under her breath as the Ravenclaw came to an abrupt stop, putting them both out of their misery. “Oh, don’t stop on my account. –Actually, on second thought, please do. I was suffering from secondhand embarrassment just watching.  Your turn out sucks and that whole little routine of yours was sloppy.”

Daisy stood there as she listened before a frown appeared on the young girls face. “Sorry? didn’t realise you owned this castle?” she told the Slytherin as she had picked up her shoes. “And for your information, I’m not a ballerina. I’m a writer but everyone has there right to freedom to express themselves.” she said
