"...and Armand had been so delighted, laughing and laughing like a schoolboy as he sat watching, with folded arms. It was the first time Daniel had ever heard that soft, silky laughter. So seductive. He got drunk as fast as he could."
– The Queen of the Damned by Anne Rice
I hate that we're not getting to see ANYTHING. We're just getting piteous crumbs, 2 mins in each episode, barely. I hate it.

Louis paying Regina to pretend to be Claudia and then Lestat telling her she's the one doing harm to Louis........ men will do anything but take accountability for their actions or the actions of the men around them. this sucks.
Also I have to claudiapost again for a moment, it felt so deeply unjustified to have her show up in this blinding, hot rage and desperation and vanish in it as well while screaming Madeleine's name, knowing that she couldn't even find her in the afterlife, and then it cuts right to a scene where Louis and Lestat are just calmly having a conversation and being able to, like... move on. She doesn't get to move on? She has to spend eternity alone in the mental state she was in when she died? She didn't even get peace after everything, she doesn't even get to be with the person she loved? That's so sick seriously, tv showrunners try not to write character arcs that ultimately result in punishing women challenge, impossible
How about you shut up??? She doesn’t owe YOU ANYTHING!!!!
This pissed me off so bad. And they're discussing it later like "I didn't know I had it in me like that"
Loustat this, Devil's minion that, WHAT ABOUT CLAUDELINE?? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO MOVE ON TO LOUSTAT WHEN I KNOW CLAUDIA WILL BE SEARCHING FOR MADELINE FOR ETERNITY?
Idk what this show does, if Claudeline don't get even a slight bit of closure, it is dead to me.

I honestly find it quite strange how some people who claim to love claudia refuse to accept that louis is also her abuser. Putting the blame entirely on lestat feels genuinely insane to me and i say this as someone whose favorite character is literally louis
Perhaps that's why episode 6 felt out of place to them, as this was quite clear to me from the minute he begged lestat to turn this child without her consent to fix their marriage and continued to use her as a way to appease his own guilt over the things he'd done
She was never truly her own person to him, rather an extension of himself and she knew this too so it's crazier to me that people are shocked she hated him just as much as lestat
I guess i also just fail to understand how we're watching a show about literal monsters and people are still having debates over who is more morally correct than the other
Random IWTV/TVL Thought 1,183,832:
It seems like a lot of people in the fandom are conflating the ideas that “If the show makes decisions that you personally don’t like then that automatically equates to bad writing”.
Example:
“The monsters are acting monstrous…how dare they 🫨🫨”.
-I don’t know what else you expect a monster to do 🤨
“Claudia called Louis a slave… how dare the writers 🫨🫨”.
-Like it’s not a continuation from the first time she referred to herself and Louis as Lestat’s slaves in Season 1 Episode 6 🤨
“How dare Armand and Daniel do that to Louis and Lestat🫨🫨”
-What part of DEVIL and his MINION was unclear 🤨
“How can you still like Daniel after he used a student aggressively 🫨🫨”.
-Because it was already established that Daniel is a sexual sadist sometimes and I’m not going to act shocked that the bad person was bad and did bad things 😐 No one is obligated to have the same moral code they do in reality applied to fictional characters 🤨
Take a deep breath and say it with me:
“ They’re Characters not Role Models”. Once again, big breath in: “They’re Characters not Role Models” 🧘🏾♀️😮💨🧘🏾♀️😮💨

Repeat after me - The parent who stands by while the abuse happens, is equally complicit.
And Louis did this TWICE. Once with Lestat, then again with Armand.
claudia's rage is so justified and actually she should have been meaner
Considering how they reacted she should've been meaner
