I really wanted to like Gabrielle/a in TVL as she was one of the more interesting characters in the books and Jennifer Ehle should be the perfect casting choice but I think the writers and a few odd direction choices have just completely fucked it. I struggle to articulate all my thoughts on this but i think it’s all summed up in that dreadful platinum blonde wig

Such a shame because Gabrielle is such an interesting character and Jennifer Ehle is an excellent actress

What if the “doppelgänger” thing also exists in IWTV? For now we’ve seen Claudia/Regina and Jarda/Lestat, but what IF somewhere, out there, there is someone who looks like Armand or even Amadeo? Someone who looks like Louis, Marius, Louis siblings, a young Daniel, Nicki?

There’s a direct parallel with Alex upstaging lestat in episode one and nicki upstaging the rest of the orchestra in three…. I’m so excited to see where this goes
