Welcome to a new hub for the Poleaxe Pan (PaP) community. The goal of the Poleaxe Pan movement is to fight panphobia and pan erasure as well as garner us some more representation and visibility.

The movement was created as a reaction to the hateful Battleaxe Bisexual (BaB) movement. For those out of the discourse loop, Battleaxe Bisexuals are bisexuals who are panphobic and believe that we pansexuals should be erased.

This blog will often contain discourse, ideas, and hot takes. I'll also post or reblog pan positivity stuff. I should also reblog posts that exclude pansexuals to remind people that we exist and need support too. Help me in my journey for solidarity! Below is our flag and the flag meanings. Gendercaecus!

Gendercaecus: (caecus meaning blind in latin) A gender that you cannot see or decipher. You may be able to feel the idea of it, as if you were seeing it with your eyes closed, only able to sense the difference between light and shadow. Your gender also makes it difficult to tell the gender of others, as if viewing them through the same blur of only light and shadow. Sometimes you find it difficult to understand that others do not experience gender the same way, because this is your normal.

Demigyny or demigyne(s): being demifemale, demiwoman, demifem(me), demigirl, demigal &/or demifeminine. Either a standalone or umbrella term. You can be all these possibilities or multiple or one of them

-gyne/-gyny is often miscorrectly written as geny/genous/gen(ic) (as in pandrogeny), so some can call this demigeny/demigenous/demigenic for mistake.

I’m using my semigender flag template here with two colors picked from flags of demigender and androgyne/androgynous, but it’s to avoid demigirl flag iterations. Both angi terms are used interchangeably so the flags and -gyne.
