“y/n?”

you look up from the menu to see none other than james smiling at you.

“hi james,” you smile nervously. “fancy seeing you here.”

he chuckles. “yeah, seonghyeon was really craving acai from this place and i got dragged along.”

“i see.”

james gestures to the counter with his thumb. “you uh, wanna pay first? my friends are taking a long time to decide too.”

“oh!” you look at haerin and sunoo, in a heated debate about peanuts and kiwi toppings. “sure, ill go.”

you grab your wallet and hit riki’s arm, telling him that you were gonna go pay first with james.

at the counter, james stares at the menu for a few minutes.

you hear the cashier sigh.

“what were you getting again?” james asks you.

“peanut acai bowl with blueberry, strawberry and banana.”

“right.” he looks at the cashier. “two of those please.”

“cash or card?”

“card, thanks.”

james takes his card out to pay.

two bowls come out a few minutes later. james hands you one and smiles. “this is yours,”

your jaw drops a bit. “you didn’t have to!”

james just shrugs and takes a bite out of his bowl.

“oh, its good.”

you smile.
