always so funny to me when i see people say that padme and anakin would have divorced if she had lived past revenge of the sith, because i really do NOT think either of them would survive that. like i fear this is a ride or die situation very literally, no matter the atrocities either of them commit (obviously particularly anakin) they are staying locked in to that marriage together. padme is not quitting him.

Becka grew to love assemblies as it showed her everyone receives divine justice no matter how powerful they are, and she decided to employ that upon learning her father was harming young girls because she wholeheartedly believed that was the Gileadian promise—girls would be protected from dangerous men 'by his hand' even though they are powerless because God protects the weak.
