Hey since TERFs buried the original, higher quality recording, hereās the only surviving recording of trans activist Sylvia Riveraās infamous āY'all Better Quiet Downā speech, along with full transcription, now free and open on Archive.org. The transphobic fucks can try their best to scrub us from history, but weāre not going anywhere.
Oh wow a piece of lgbt history..

The goggles are really iconic I fear. I donāt have the energy to fix Kateās entire pose rn sheās weirdly⦠hunched??
Get un-hunched. And I made Jeff grey
The artists need taught the dos and donts of Gwens eyes. I love this touch up
Hitch is the type of trans guy to buy flowers for Hitomi and spoil her with snacks and treats and Hitomi, who is a trans woman, never experienced the gentleness of gifts especially out of genuine love, so I can imagine her getting really blushy and soft over it.
he really loves her and showers her with gifts and mouse kisses. and she purrs over it too.
Love having a modded wii
How tf do you get the trans rights channel?

tbh i think the funniest phenomena that's been happening in the last couple years is "youtuber, having gone too deep into the research hole, has been made an investigative journalist against their will"
Shout out to the guy who wanted to do some fun & silly little reviews but uncovered an illegal gambling operation
(Review 2)
this guy started out poking fun at australian politicians and ended up investigating the firebombing of his own home, during which he uncovered connections between the same politician he was making fun of + major organized crime
JasperDasper started out just curious why everything had suddenly become about trans people and questioning some of the sources used in a book. He came out of it, 4 years later, with a 5 hour long video that connects all transphobia to less than 60 people. (I'm not joking. literally every single transphobic rhetoric and bill passed is because of these 50 or so people.)
If you wanna watch it I cannot recommend it enough; I just warn that it covers a LOT.
i figured out this juggling lab thing

So Many Stars
An Oral History of Trans, Nonbinary, Genderqueer, and Two-Spirit People of Color
Caro de RobertisĀ
From the acclaimed novelist, a first-of-its-kind, deeply personal, and moving oral history of a generation of trans and gender nonconforming elders of color--from leading activists to artists to ordinary citizens--who tell their own stories of breathtaking courage, cultural innovations, and acts of resistance.
So Many Stars knits together the voices of trans, nonbinary, genderqueer, and two-spirit elders of color as they share authentic, intimate accounts of how they created space for themselves and their communities in the world. This singular project collects the testimonies of twenty elders, each a glimmering thread in a luminous tapestry, preserving their words for future generations--who can more fully exist in the world today because of these very trailblazers.
De Robertis creates a collective coming-of-age story based on hundreds of hours of interviews, offering rare snapshots of ordinary life: kids growing up, navigating family issues and finding community, coming out and changing how they identify over the years, building movements and weathering the AIDS crisis, and sharing wisdom for future generations. Often narrating experiences that took place before they had the array of language that exists today to self-identify beyond the gender binary, this generation lived through remarkable changes in American culture, shaped American culture, and yet rarely takes center stage in the history books. Their stories feel particularly urgent in the current political moment, but also remind readers that their experiences are not new, and that young trans and nonbinary people today belong to a long lineage.
The anecdotes in these pages are riveting, joyful, heartbreaking, full of personality and wisdom, and artfully woven together into one immersive narrative. In De Robertis's words, So Many Stars shares "behind-the-scenes tales of what it meant--and still means--to create an authentic life, against the odds."

Thats such a creative pun for a title. I have so much respect to the trans people of the past who did so much for us
Gnarp ass wunk
Posting this for no reason
Y'know I had fun with wplace for a few hours making art and stuff but then I learned about the transmisogynist hate campaign an ex-mod has been put through and I kinda don't wanna touch it with a 10 foot pole anymore
For context! If you don't know, WPlace is a website with the same premise as Reddit's r/place, but done in an entire map of the world.
At one point some Spanish streamer decided to cover the entire country of Andorra with black and purple pixels because it was his brand. This of course covered existing artwork so a tgirl mod started banning the griefers for breaking the rules.
The streamer's fans, seeing this, rallied against her by harassing her intensely and doxxing her, all to the point she attempted suicide. The mods responded to this by kicking her off the mod team, apologizing to the streamer and gifting his fans 5000 droplets (pixels to color).
Of course this caused intense backlash among its community, so the mod team wrote a response where they spouted countless lies about her, like saying she was actually banned for vandalizing artworks, threatened to sue the website and that her suicide attempt was faked for attention. She was banned from the Discord server where this statement was put in beforehand so she didn't have a chance to defend herself.
me thinks more people should see this post since wplace seems pretty famous and i don't really think anyone should. support this game
This is actually insane what the fuck
trans youth should get to live to see trans adulthood!!!!
