She was the type that looked you dead in the dick and walked on both legs real slow.  "Catch." and she'd flip the condom up from the cross-hatch sidewalk.  "Build me something." and she'd be back with a new itch to scratch. 

Today she looks at me right across the room dressed up in pale skin and a pair of fat, Monroe lips.  "You wanna bounce?" I couldn't care less about the black ball she's been rolling over shoulders.  It's all a put-on. I wait for the real thing - when the cold air turns on and I watch a pulse of pinpoint hairs come-to-Jesus on her neck. 

I want her.  I want her.  I want "her".  Truly, I say, I want this woman.  I couldn't care less about her looking down on me.  Even while she walks I couldn't get any tighter, any more ready to burst open on this bed.  

There's a soft-red blanket above the covers and under me.  I'm naked on the pillows and sprawled.  But as she walks closer.  I get colder.  I shrivel till I'm a fetus on the soft-red.  "Open up for me." I open up for her. 

Suddenly I'm a great metaphor - unhinged and sliding neat and real handsome underneath Venus.  "A man who'll fill a woman," said my mother once "is no man at all."

I never liked my mother - the cold, horrid bitch.
