Post break-up thoughts

I can smell the wood burning and my heart aching.

Won’t shed a tear, cause what’s the use.

I’d better dance under the giant moon and the shooting stars.

People are mirrors. 

When I am alone, I have no body. 

I can be my doubts and my flaws. 

Although I am not sure about my flaws, because are they flaws if no one is there to attest they are ?

I am a stream of thoughts, and feelings. 

I am my strenghts and my will to live. 

City lights are the only evidence of a flight over the earth and not into nothingness.

You say I am strong, and I guess I am.

But I don’t really have a choice.

I like to see how it grows and gets wild after a few days of rain. It swallows up the trees and eats up the banks. It turns brown and roar.

Ce sont des formes, des couleurs, de la lumière, mais ce qu'elles suscitent en moi dépasse les mots. Je crois que ce corps réceptacle, récipient, n'est pas assez profond pour contenir tout ce qui m'habite. Je le sais car je sens mon âme pousser contre les parois de mon corps, ce corps trop petit pour moi.

What am I ?

This love is a marathon, and I'm tired of running.
