Moments like 12:29AM
There are moments like 12:29AM when I know we talk to each other is how we talk. Any seriousness and realness of the day, we were on it.
But, I know that eventually or quickly that turned into something else. Because how can you deny the emotions, feelings, attraction, and pleasure of the blessing of being in one’s dopeness?
Then after the intenseness of it all, the real and raw authentic experiences, lived convos, and actions, you still end up thinking about moments like 12:29AM.
When you wake up to 11:29AM the next day, you feel differently though don’t you? Them moments like at 12:29AM. . .
Morning glory
Back in the day in New York, I used to wake up and be ready to play.
Those spring and summer mornings made me so excited because the sunlight was out shining by at least eight. I wasn’t an early bird but I’ve always made it out early enough before the morning glories closed. Once in a blue moon, you’d see a color that did not look like the rest of the flowers, posted on the fence although intertwined and all connected with the others. That was so cool.
I only saw that bright sunlight. But, recently I remembered the morning dew. It never stopped me from walking in the grass to look at those faces though. I mean, I couldn’t stand the water that attached the grass blades, seeds from weeds, and specs of dirt to my skin. But, I knew those beautiful openings were only temporary. So, I went forth.
You’re my morning glory. You reminded me of the excitement and that yard full of pleasant and tender things. You were the blue flower among the purples. You were so beautiful, and I only saw you in light. And, for a while I forgot that the openness was temporary. The joys lasted for a brief moment of time. And, I’m not a child anymore living in New York.
I have moved in this region that does not enrich those beautiful things, and I can only fathom the lovely mysteries of a flower. —Not your playing. Not your coming and going. Not your glory that only takes place in the early morning.
People be mad at grown things.

There's a right way and a wrong way to talk about race.
“Many parents, especially white parents, still avoid the topic of race, and teach children that it’s a rude, taboo topic—believing perhaps that not talking about skin color will make it seem irrelevant.
That’s tragically wrongheaded, says Brigitte Vittrup, a psychologist specializing in child development at Texas Woman’s University: ‘We have to talk to our kids about it, and we shouldn’t be afraid that we’re bringing something up that they haven’t discovered, because they have.’ Science has shown that kids recognize skin colors as toddlers, and develop ideas about races as superior or inferior by the time they start primary school.”
It's some shit when it takes "science" to say this or that for people to want to give attention to matters that are real. I appreciate articles, but we as humans need to be better.
He wiped me with a warm wet towel. Somehow that warmth is outlasting its unexpected stay.
Last meal If I could give back that meal I would. I’d abolish, destroy, erase, avoid, even kill that moment. Who knew it would taste good but would make me sad Who knew I would have tried to eat all of it but have it digest so fast Who knew I would savor the flavor but forget the taste Who knew I would enjoy the time but have it instantly fade Who knew I was so unthoughtful, assuming everything was going fine Who knew eating was a crime I took it in. I liked it. I went on letting it fill me up. Then the next day the feeling wasn’t the same. The day after that, nothing was in place And the day after that, the enrichments never came and after that, how hunger all of a sudden became tamed. I would have abolished it, destroyed it, erased it, avoid it, and killed that moment so I would have never known that it was the last meal.
Apologies
I feel like I should apologize to my body, yet I don't feel anything wrong. Maybe I should apologize to my mind for not encouraging it to be unapologetic.
The fuckin Dope
I tried my best to go along with it, thinking he would shortly stop The glands did their thing I called him names and disengaged every second The glands did their thing It happened so fast that I let him kiss my lips, try to catch me eye to eye, and pulled my plump flesh close to him right at the corner of this busy street This cliche moment was not suppose to happen to me This out of the blue random act was not suppose to make me blurry The glands did their thing I sweated ...and was so lost in it, I forgot to think scientifically Dopamine.
