natural science student

My name is Nina and I'm a 28 yo natural science student from Italy. I've spent my early twenties trying out different jobs while also getting a degree in illustration and taking comic art classes. Last year though I decided to go back to university to learn about something I deeply love: nature 🪲🌿🏔️

I don't really know where this journey will take me. I'm very familiar about the uncertainty of things, but I'm willing to push through and I opened this blog to keep me motivated and somehow keep track of my years in uni ❤️‍🩹

Quit my job yesterday, to try and prioritize university! I'm relieved and happy that I can get back to attend lectures ❤️‍🩹 I basically lost my whole second year, and I'm going to start again in september. I'll spend the summer trying to take some first year exams I left behind like zoology 2 and organic chemistry 💭

170226 🧪 organic chemistry studies

I've finally started studying again, slowly, just a little bit, but I started, and yesterday I went to the library before work to do some organic chemistry. I had to start from lesson one, but thankfully I remembered a lot from last year's lectures and it wasn't that difficult to understand.

The coffee machine made a mess with my drink. The coffee cup was too small and the coffee overflowed...

One the way back I saw some cute flowers and smiled at the colors ~ I missed the sun 🌞

yep, uhm i got that job as a barista in october and that eventually made me almost quit university.

i'm still enrolled but i'm questioning it,, i have not touched a book in months and the only way I get to distracted myself from the job and the other life struggles is drawing and making comics (which makes me super proud, i love my stories, i love drawing my characters).

But today I was at work and the first clients of the day were two park rangers (?i think that's the name in english) who work in a park close to where I live now, and I suddenly got so nostalgic about uni...

I really want to learn,, but I can't find the will to study. And going back to the city and be surrounded by the other students give me so much anxiety,, which is why a stopped going to class in september after only a week.
