Kite in a Hurricane

Hey guys!

I haven’t been around in ages, and that’s for a lot of reasons, namely being that I’ve sold my yarn shop! This is a complicated decision that not many of you will be interested in hearing about but suffice it to say that I’m very happy about it and I’m taking a well deserved vacation!

I am opening commissions over the next week before I leave for knitting! I’ve made lots of stuff for comic con before, lots of nerdy stuff, and fitted garments as well. I am wanting some extra spending money so I’m offering a discount for people that want to prepay for some knitting! I’ll probably take it with me on my travels. I normally charge 20 cents per yard for my knitting, plus materials, but this time I’m going to be charging 15 cents per yard, plus materials. I can go the cheap materials route, but have access to discounted yarns from my yarn shop that I just sold, so we can get a more quality yarn for not much more price wise. 

To give you an idea, the dice bag would cost about $20, the whale about $30, the cabled sweater that the lovely @grand-taire is modeling (it’s theirs anyways <3 ) is about $200, and the baby link costume for my friend’s newborn is about $50.
