You know all shipping aside one thing that is appreciable on Skyla Elesa's dynamic is that, thus far, they've never indulged any notion that Skyla could be jealous of or resentful towards Elesa for being more well-regarded as a model and inspiration. It could've been easy to say perhaps along their relationship Skyla got irate how much everyone talks up Elesa; one chap in the PWT references their friendship as a noteworthy trait for Skyla, essentially implicating a fair few people only regard Skyla well because she's close to Elesa. With over ten years now of consistent interaction between them, could well have slipped in that tension between them. But nope. Skyla is consistently and sincerely adoring and supportive of Elesa, who in turn has nothing but positives to say about her. Heartwarming.
