Forever Poetry

A smoked filled padded landscape, 

surrounded in a checkerboard carpet.

The second floor spiral staircase,

goes up to where it is darkest.

There is no reason to be scared, 

you’ll find the attic in the clouds.

Mauveine couches line the room,

with calculated cushions of down.

Peach ballerinas in music boxes,

each enchanting the mirror inside.

Where dreams lay down and take a nap,

perched upon the thrown of brides.

Hey everyone!!! I’m working toward studying abroad next year and I need a little help funding it. I usually wouldn’t post anything like this, but this opportunity to study Biology in Sweden is really important to me so I figured it would be worth a shot to try and raise some money to help fund it. When the day is good,  The blackest cloud in the world, Would cast no shadow on my mind,  But when I wake up on a day, That proves my mind to be too dark,  I realize, I'm not strong enough to die,  And I start to wonder, If I'm strong enough to live. 

Darkness begins,  When light ends; The extinguishing of a flame, And the breaking of a heart. 

Yet where now is darkness, Remnants of light still remains; The dream of a warm fire,  And the memory of a lover's touch. 

Hey everyone!!! Sorry for the lack of posting and stuff lately, haven't been writing much poetry, unfortunately :/ anyways!!! It's national poetry month!!! so my goal is to write a poem every day all month annnnd

I challenge you to do the same!!

Scratch music notes in my skin,  That disappear as soon as they're written.

A melody played by fingertips,  And recorded by goosebumps; Turn the night into a song,  And my body into the instrument.  Music heard by only our ears, And stuck in only our heads.  Musicians of an ever changing symphony,  Set to the rhythm of synchronized hearts.

We are silly creatures.  With love of life and fear of death,  We celebrate a merry christmas  And happy new year.  Singing sweet mourning of the end,  Yet joyous song of coming days.  May the next be better than the last! Enclosed in warm embrace,  Saying goodbye to twelve months,  Three hundred and sixty-five days gone Counting down the seconds,  As the final end draws ever nearer,  Clock striking midnight, We kiss away each year. 

Another year gone,  One step closer to the end, Till death do we part.
