You've inspired me to come up with a few text conversations between something tells me Will and Mack. I love any excuse to play around in this universe, and I had WAY too much fun with this. In my mind, these texts happen sometime after the final chapter (can't give too much away about the epilogue though)! Hopefully you enjoy!

okay i'm obsessed with the part of i could fall in love with you that you shared today! i've been dying for an update and now i'm even more excited. i just wanna give your version of mack the biggest hug. i basically have something tells me memorized so i immediatly connected the dots with the stress hives thing because it's mentioned in ch 1 where mack talks about that. anyways i just wanted to say thank you and i love this universe and the two of them so much!
Wow, thank you so much! I love that you picked up on the fact that Mack briefly mentioned dealing with stress hives in something tells me. It’s such a small, passing detail in chapter 1, but I wanted to create tangible through lines between both POVs and it felt like something Mack would tell Will about once he’s grown more comfortable. It makes me so happy that you noticed. 🫶

TERRIBLE. would not recommend 10/10. it was so good, literally reading it in the middle of psychology and trying not to slam my laptop shut. ANWYAYS, it lowkey inspired me to write a song. I will be updating soon! I promise! That fic means a lot to me and it won’t be abandoned. I was struggling to rewrite my original draft of chapter 8 after realizing it wasn’t what I wanted it to be, and then I hit a wall and put it on the back burner after the olympics while I sorted through my own ethical dilemma. But there’s an update coming. I’ve been working on it for a long time. Once chapter 8 is done it should be smooth sailing with the following chapters since I feel good about those.
It means a lot to me that you care enough to ask so kindly and without pressure. So, thank you for that. And thank you for bearing with me and my insanely slow updates 🩷

I’m obsessed. The yarn is gorgeous and the color feels very ‘fault lines’ to me for some reason? I could see Will wearing a pullover in that color. I can’t explain it. I’m sure the finished product will be absolutely beautiful.

So I just applied to test knit a pullover named the Fault Lines Pullover and I can't wait to make it. It's a squishy textured sweater and the yarn I'm using is called Forbidden Love and something about the whole thing just feels like fate. A warm, squishy, comforting sweater that shares the name of my favorite comforting fic. Idk why I just felt like I needed to tell you about this.
