I fucking loved The Odyssey, folks
A spoiler-containing list of things I loved about The Odyssey:
Scylla felt like a multi-headed Shai-Hulud and it sprung out of a cliff instead of appearing from the sea!
Circe turning the Greeks into pigs by molding their flesh like it's dough, FUCK
What's this weird mist and these moving trees and these giants in plate armor? Doesn't matter, get back to the boat!!
Showing-not-telling things like the proper way to string Odysseus's bow (pretty sure the trick is that it bends the opposite way it looks like it should?)
Agamemnon looks like a fucking demon out of Hell
Elliot Page! As Sinon! In Hades! Covered in muck and full of fury!
I'm sad the cyclops didn't get to just chill on his island, herding sheep and making tasty cheese
But also he did eat some guys. Loved the visual (accidental?) homage to Goya's "Saturn Devouring His Son."
