It’s that time of year! The ConnectWise holiday party!

Ty and I took a mini vacation to the beach for two nights. We found a handful of shark teeth and It was Nestle’s first time seeing the ocean.

Here is my first attempt at a charcoal drawing using Procreate on the iPad. It’s a sketch of Little Finger from Game of Thrones. I know it isn’t perfect but every new drawing is a step in the right direction!

Ty’s best friend Jacob got married and he was one of the groomsmen at the wedding. They had a lot of fun taking pictures together after.

Ty streams a variety of different games and is really focused on building a community among his viewers. Some of the games include Rocket League, Runescape, Minecraft, occasionally League of Legends. You can check out his stream on Twitch here!

He’s the first real drawing I did when I got my iPad. My boyfriend wanted an illustated version of himself to use as his icon for YouTube, #team, etc.

I know I am no where near perfect and my technique is still sloppy but I decided to challenge myself to draw more and get better. Today I was playing around with texture on Procreate on the iPad and was trying to get a feel for some some of the brushes were capable of.

Tosh being a weirdo. I don’t get how she can sleep so peacefully like that.

My cousin Heather is in cosmetology school and needed a male subject to practice hair cutting on. We had a little fun with styling while he was a captive audience.

I am proud of my friends for anyways making the time for each other and not letting us drift apart despite living completely separate lives in different parts of the city, state, and now the world. Congratulations to Sumer for venturing off to Korea to teach English (for the second time) and Angeline who will be taking her first trip to China to teach English as well. I am so proud of my all of friends for perusing their dream and supporting each other through the process. We have all been together now since elementary and middle school.

I couldn’t get the best photo, but here is my dad dancing with my grandmother (mom’s mum) at my cousin Melissa’s wedding.

In the second picture you can see my dad holding Zylee (and hoping she would quit whining), but Tosh got jealous and was trying to stand in my dad’s feet the whole time.

I was out of town for my real birthday, so I came back to work to find my cube had been decorated like this in my absence, anticipating my arrival back. I think my coworkers had some fun while I was gone.

Another day in Savannah Georgia (and another day getting caught out on the town in the rain). We spent a day exploring the town on a hop on / hop off trolly tour, and then went on a ghost tour that night which included a small walk to a few places on the town and a tour of the Sorrel Weed House. Overall we had a love of fun (:
