Plumbob pudding

Hi everyone! I’m Fiona and I’m a maxis match-ish simmer from London. I’m twenty three so my gameplay might have themes that aren’t suitable for younger people but I always tag sensitive topics. I’m WCIF friendly and always up for a chat.

I’m into historical gameplay/storytelling but I also enjoy casual modern gameplay. Sometimes I post lookbooks and sims (usually toddlers and infants, I love them). Once in a blue plumbob I make cc (mainly hairs) which you can find here.

This is a day late but everyday is a day to celebrate our history. Inspired by the Society for Visual Education’s Black ABCs I decided to recreate their collection for your sims. Up for download here!(sfs). See all images under the cut.

Eventually, Dulcie and the babies were discharged from hospital. Two little boys and a girl who they named Prosper James, Prince Seymour, and Pearl Anne, for all the bright wishes they carried in their hearts.

The leap from two to five was no small thing. Three hungry mouths, three fragile bodies, three futures to guard. After much discussion, it was decided Dulcie and the triplets would return to Mama’s house in Moonwood Mill, where there were lots of steady hands and familiar walls, while Laurence remained in the city, working his routes and saving every spare penny.

As her pregnancy progressed, so too did the fatigue and nausea. Dark circles formed deep underneath her eyes, made worse by the fact that she was much too exhausted to bother with any face powder, even to cover up her spots. Her clothes hung lose around her, several sizes too big since the mere thought of food had her rushing to the water closet.

Money was scarce, but Laurence couldn’t stand seeing his wife like this so they spent the savings they had set aside for the baby so that Dulcie might see a doctor.

She was admitted immediately. Laurence of course couldn’t visit the maternity wards so Mama came to stay with her. The nurses and doctors seemed to be speaking a different language, something about hyperemesis and her blood pressure. Only this was made clear: the baby must come early, and she would remain in hospital for some time.

They put her to sleep with some stinging medicine and carted her away to a white room. In what felt like no time had passed at all, Mama was by her side once more as they made their way down to the nursery.

Behind the glass, wrapped in neat white blankets, lay not one child, but three! Triplets!

Though married life was a new frontier, some things remained much the same as Dulcie continued to enjoy evenings with her theatre group. Being the lead was definitely tasking and had her very much exhausted most days, but soon she noticed nausea and weight gain too.

It felt decidedly odd to return to the city after the ceremony, this time with Larry’s arm warm and certain beneath her hand, and with Ophelia and Carrie already bound for Europe by boat. Dulcie could not deny the dip in her spirits, the sense of something ending even as something else began.
