Here's my first Para ever, Violet Lakes. An inspiring musician with a romantic goth aesthetic. She's hyper focused on getting her music heard and improving her songwriting. So there's no time for romance, but the cook who works in the restaurant next to her apartment is kinda cute. She's still new to town and there's a lot of Paras she could meet around town.

I mean I grew up playing OurWorld(R.I.P) when i couldn't access the sims and the art style kinda reminds me of that so it doesn't really bother me.

I'm back in my historical simmer bag. I can't stay away from this playstyle for too long. Spent a week making an in depth head cannon of medieval kingdoms in the Sims 4. These sims reside in the Tartorsan empire and may be the subjects of my UDC revival. I'm working on a save specifically for the Royals next.

About Me

My name is Kennedi Donovan, but the people close to me call me Kendi. I was born and raised in Sim City. I have always been someone who stayed close to home and focused on building a future I could be proud of. After graduating with a B.S. in Health Science from Foxbury Institute (go lobsters), I became a certified Physical Therapist Assistant. My dream is to one day own my own practice. As a child, I knew my calling was to help others. It brings me a real sense of purpose to be part of someone’s healing process and to watch them regain strength and confidence in themselves.

So what has brought me to apply to not just Love Island, but Love Island Labadi? I've been called a recluse in the past. Honestly, there's some truth to that. I tend to stay in my comfort zone and keep my circle small. I have only ever been in one relationship in my life and that lasted 5 whole months. I think for a long time I convinced myself that focusing on school and my career was enough. However, I get this feeling that even though I have accomplished a lot at my young age that I am missing out on experiences that people my age are supposed to have. I mean, I've never been out of Sim City, let alone Sim Nation, and Labadi feels like a world away. From everything I have heard, it is beautiful, vibrant, and full of life, which is the complete opposite of how I have been living.

Applying to Love Island is me choosing to step outside of myself, take a risk, and actually live. And if I happen to find a real connection along the way, then that would mean everything to me.

My traits are neat, bookworm, excitable, easily impressed, and perspective. A common misconception about me is that I'm shy because it takes a long time for me to warm up to others. I like to get a feel on people before I open up to them. It is important that my dream man understands this trait about me as often times people take it for a lack of interest. I am drawn to people who are genuine and grounded. I want someone who does not play games and knows what they want.

My ideal partner has to be kind in nature, loyal, trust worthy, and able to understand me in a way that no one ever has.

My dream date would be a romantic moonlight picnic on a beach where each of us would bring our favorite foods and try them. I would bring one of those corny card games where we'd ask each other questions to get to know each other better.

My hobbies include reading and writing. I actually have been working on a historical romance novel in my spare time and would like to get it published some time in the future. Writing is something that allows me to express parts of myself that I do not always show outwardly.

I think I am someone who has spent a lot of time preparing for life, and now I am finally ready to experience it. Love Island Labadi feels like the first real step into that version of myself.

I'm obsessed.

Here's the first addition to the street. Don't mind the blue homes, its just a copy paste of a Ranch style home I build and didn't like. I'm using it as a base for the houses on the street. I gotta admit single-family homes are a struggle for me to build lol. It's based off a real life home in Florida I found on Zillow.

I noticed that some Florida neighborhoods have sidewalks set back further from the road which allows for cars to be parked on grass which I thought was a nice detail.

Here's a sneak peek at the school I'm working on. It's going to be an outdoor school (they really do exist lol) and offer grades K5-8th. I might have to delete that building in the back because I hate how it looks from the front of the school. I was going to make it an auditorium but idk.
