my favorite way to stop myself from eating is by telling myself the food will still be there for the rest of my life! I can always go get ice cream! or go out to dinner! and if it’s something that I really won’t ever have the opportunity to eat again than tbh it’s worth the calories I’ll just fast to make up for it.
i need more discipline.

I want to lose 40 kg before 2026. I have a little less than 5 months to make it happen. I weigh 100 kg as a 5’10 woman in her late 20s.
Here are my rules:
Fasting as much as possible: extended fasts when I can. Eating window should be less than 8 hours always. The real aim is less than 2 hours. No eating within 36-48 hours of previous window. Ultimately, every day is part of an ADF/rolling/extended fast.
No snacking or eating at work — which means not even eating any fruit when my boss asks me to while I’m making fruit cups or any snacks offered to me by staff.
I must take photos of what I eat every day (or drink) and post it (I will also update on non-eating days.)
Calorie counting on eating days even if it has to be estimated. This means I’ll mostly eat at home and mostly eat what I myself cook.
No junk food, no fast food, no Uber Eats, no sweets, no alcohol, no processed foods.
Severely limit dairy especially cheese since it makes me breakout.
Black coffee and flavoured unsweetened teas not just black or green tea are allowed even on fasting days.
Daily weigh-ins. Can’t miss more than two days in a row.
My aim should be 10k steps daily as a strict minimum but 12-13k is most desirable. This is harder on my two days off since I work a physically active job.
I will start working out 3x a week once I’m down to 75-80 kg.
5 push ups a day. The aim is to have 5 full perfect push ups by the end of the year.
Stretching every day (I cannot skip a day.)
Vitamin D every morning — already do.
Magnesium every night — also already do.
Castor oil for my elbows and eyebrow (eczema) and stomach (digestion) every night.
No binging (obvious right? well… not quite.)
Need to prioritize fibre over anything else. Proteins are good but no more processed meat or ground beef for that matter.
Extreme limit of rice. I eat too much rice.
Absolutely no bread, pizza, or pasta.
Eat more tofu, fish, chicken, vegetables, and berries.
Be smart about nuts, beans, and potatoes.
I can smoke cigarettes to cut appetite but never more than 2 cigarettes a day and I will quit again if I feel too reliant.
Unfortunately the Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi has to go… but occasionally I can have a can. No other pops or drinks besides soda water.
No lounging on my bed unless it’s time for sleep.
Aim to sleep 7-8 hours a night, preferably anywhere from 10:00-6:00 am.
No eating while standing. Must sit down and eat and thoroughly chew and enjoy my meal.
I might have forgotten something but I’ll come back to update this list and refer back to it!
4 months to lose 40 kg in 2026
I'm tired of being fat. Not only do I want to lose the weight that I've gained from my toxic relationship (20 kg), but I also want to reach a new personal low weight for me. I've never been less than 67 kg (when I was 16) and 73 kg (when I was 20).
I'm a 28-year-old female, 5'10", and 100 kg as of January 22nd, 2026. I want to be 60-70 kg by the end of May.
I'm going to record everything here. The goal is to track calories, avoid junk and processed foods, and eliminate snacking. I'm going to do back-to-back rolling fasts, and on fast days, I will drink black coffee/tea and soda water.
Please feel free to check in and hold me accountable, especially if we are in the same boat and you're not under 20. Always be respectful and be careful. I do believe there are still some safe ways to lose a lot of weight quickly (monitoring, balancing electrolytes, taking extra vitamins, going for check-ups, fuelling your body with nutritious foods on feast days, resting, walking, etc.)

i’m being serious when i say that my life would be 100% better if i was skinny. like genuinely. i wouldn’t have to worry and spend an hour and a half (sometimes more like??!!) trying to figure out what to wear just to go buy groceries. i wouldn’t have to overthink that my bf might find me heavy. i won’t have to be anxious going to parties. and i can wear whatever the FUUUUUCCCCKKK I WAAAANT and look good STILL
