Time to have a little “talk” in the kitchen.

Waiting for her husband to come home so they can have a little “talk.”

”Well, dear husband, are you ready to come out of the corner and apologize or are you going to need some more time across my lap?”

Good morning, sleepy head. So, why don’t we discuss what time you got home from your night out with the guys last night way past the time I told you to be home.

“Welcome home honey. So, these first few weeks of marriage and living together has been a bit rough, hasn’t it? What, with your laziness, irresponsibility, vulgar language, and all? Well, I went to talk with your mother today and she sent me home with these. She says they have always worked wonders for your behavior. Take your pants down, please.”

You and the guys stop off at the bar after work. You have some pints and stay a bit longer than you planned. You get home and she isn’t happy you forgot your promise.

They have only been married three weeks and he is out late drinking with his buddies again. She sits at her vanity preparing for bed and looking at the hairbrush laying before her. For the life of her, she hasn’t been able to understand why her new mother-in-law gave her an old worn wooden hairbrush as a wedding gift……wait a minute. He is going to reintroduced to this old hairbrush when he comes stumbling home.

”you’re behavior at Church this morning was atrocious. You embarrassed me in front of everyone. It is time to face the consequences.”

He left the corral gate open and she had to wrangle the escaped horses. He left the barn a complete mess. He hasn’t even begun to mend the fences. The tractor is still broken down. Where could he be? She tracks him down at the honkey tonk. When she gets him home he is going to feel her belt.

“We need to talk dear.”
