bookcase :  jet’s not much of a reader , but she’s got a couple random classics on there like the outsiders , fahrenheit 451 , tale of two cities , and the road ( all from high school english ) and then there’s a bunch of production equipment manuals , biographies of music artists like bon jovi , amy winehouse , etc.  along with books , jet uses her bookcase to store random toys and trinkets she’s acquired over the years .  basically her bookcase is incredibly full of stuff , most of which she doesn’t use anymore .

“Jesus, there’s really no bloody signal signal here is there?” The question wasn’t posted to anyone in particular as he glanced down at his mobile, camera slung across his shoulder. He didn’t need it but he preferred to upload his photos as he went, having had plenty of near-misses. It was still early in the day, the sun had just come up and he’d collected his gear from the car after his morning run. “Best network my arse.” He mumbled, once again, not to anyone around him which was, thankfully, few due to the hour anyway. 

“Damn… Slatin’ a customer to their face, like that. Spittin’ in my eyes and shit for gettin’ a little fancy,” Ziggy mocked offence. “Tryna make me cry? Got my tear-ducts surgically removed, but. On the inside I’m a wreck.”

she sighed, preparing herself like the host of a tv show about to tell a fable. “i was excommunicated. i didn’t represent the family brand.” she wasn’t apart of the family, but she could see this much being true. “i fell in love with daniel kellogg and was kicked out of the family. yes, like romeo and juliet. will you be the one to help me regain my rightful place on the throne?” 

“ oh okay , so it was with kind intentions , ” rosie reasons , like that excuses getting poked with a cane completely . it’s not always in the brunette’s nature to mother others when she can barely take care of herself , but her caring side kicks into high gear when she hears about people , especially her best friend , getting hurt . “ good , ” she nods to settle matters , and slight arches in her brows to silently challenge jet to dare and put herself in harm’s way again . a quick thank you to the waiter for an ice-filled ziploc bag , she wraps a napkin around it before handing it across to jet . “ no , it’s okay . you know i don’t mind waiting , ” she waves the apology off literally with her hand before diving into the fries she ordered for the table ahead of time while she was waiting . “ how’s the track sound ? is it gonna be the next number one ? ” she says with wiggling eyebrows , sounding like she’s speaking in jest though she’s wholly sincere in her support and belief in the other .

“Uh,” Who didn’t love existentialism with their cold brew, right? Quinn had never taken physics, or astronomy, or anything like that. They were very much a “I’m going to take enough science to graduate and that’s it because fuck math.” sort of student in their day. But they were nerd adjacent, at least, so aliens were…slightly less mind melting than anything ese she could have brought up. “I think, if the universe is constantly, like, expanding and all, it’s possible, but I think we wouldn’t know because, like, I heard that if you’re far enough away from earth and have the tech to see it, you could still see dinosaurs right now, so. Maybe we’d only see dinosaurs in that galaxy too?”

        “when i grow up, i want to be just like you,” freddie hums with a beaming smile, voice devoid of sarcasm. it’s one of those rare occasions her mouth and heart are on the same page – “teach me your ways, senpai, let’s humiliate frat boys together.”
