i know some/most of you are hoping for transfem Jax to be canon

BUT!!!!!

if it happens to turn out that transfem Jax is NOT canon or implied to be canon in any stretch

please, for the love of everything that is good and just in this world, do not do what people did to Dana and flame Goose for not making it canon

it was really sad and annoying seeing people get mad at a creator for confirming something that applies to a character SHE made in a story SHE made and I'd rather that not repeat for TADC

and goose has already dealt with enough lets not make it worse bc a headcanon didn't get confirmed, and besides, you can still hc Jax as transfem even if its not canon, no one is stopping you

also!! if it is confirmed please don't go around being rude to or harassing people who didnt hc Jax has trans at all or headcanoned him as transmasc instead. It's not cute and its certainly not cool.

i was really tired and honestly it completely slipped my mind to add this also applies to people who headcanon transmasc Jax when I made this post. BUT IT IS STILL TRUE

No ones headcanon is better than the other, they're both equally cool and awesome. And their hcs certainly don't give them the green card to harass or be rude to anyone for having a different one. So people let everybody enjoy their own headcanons and interpretations regardless of what happens in the finale

So from then on whenever one of us called something problematic, he would make us talk it out until we could name the “bad” thing we were hinting at. In this particular class, 7/10 it was some type of oppression, and the remainder was like, “I’m uncomfortable because this is very new/confusing/pushing boundaries that made me feel safe.”

Once we stopped calling things “problematic” and stopping at that, class got way more interesting and... we all had to say, like, “that’s racist” or “that’s misogynistic” or “ew capitalism gross” out loud, which a lot of us had never done in a classroom before. Or we had to be like, “Uhhh... I’m not sure what’s so bad?” and confront our own beliefs and that was maybe even more useful.
