"Gore should be preceded by accurate warnings" Yes exactly. Lots of places on the internet are really sloppy or even straightup malicious about this kind of thing and just spam gore or post it unwarned and it sucks so fucking bad!!

I have come across people that described gore as "not minor friendly" and honestly this is just so, so incorrect. Many minors (and I use "minor" very begrudgingly here, because a child and a teenager are so incredibly different it is not very useful to lump them together into one category other than for legal purposes as many have pointed out before) are into gore art and writing. Many minors run gore blogs. Hell, many minors write and draw gore. And you know what? It's good that they do. Many adults have a fascination for the grotesque. For horror, for whump, for violence. It may bring them comfort, or catharsis, or an exciting thrill, maybe it even helps to cope.
