It’s two thirty in the morning and I think I just broke Heroes of Olympus how did I not notice this plot hole before but please consider the following: if Percy was missing during the timeline of The Lost Hero, which happened in December, all the way until he arrives at Camp Jupiter in June, and later in The Son of Neptune we learn that Hera/Juno was keeping him hidden in a sort of coma at the Wolf House, then where the fuck was he when Piper and crew showed up to jailbreak Hera? Wouldn’t she realize that would be a risky place to hide him after she was captured and held hostage there and focus what power she had left on moving him?  Like Thalia,someone from his old life who definitely knew him and was looking for him showed up to the fight there, and Pipes and Leo and Jason knew he was missing and what was Percy just curled up asleep in an obscure corner while they were right there? like what if they had stumbled across his body and brought him back home before he even got to Camp Jupiter and made the exchange and/or Jason’s memory of his camp returned? And in SoN all it says is Percy woke up in the Wolf House at night so maybe he wasn’t hid there originally and Hera simply moved him when the time was right,but where would have she hidden him? Not on Olympus, because she was orchestrating this whole thing behind her husband’s back and if he had discovered it before the seven had been united he would have made sure it never happened, so soon after the Battle of Manhattan he could not admit he needed the help of mortals again because he was too prideful and arrogant.  Not in the palace under the sea with his father, because it’s forbidden for the gods to enter each other’s domains, and she wouldn’t want Poseidon to have his favorite son so near, who knows what sorts of ideas the currents could whisper to him while he slept? Even though she was defying her husband, she wouldn’t want his brother to have a weapon like Percy Jackson at hand. But it’s impossible that he was at the Wolf house the whole time, because the wolves would have found him and woken him and trained him for a few weeks before sending him to Camp, but that couldn’t have happened because he would have been at the Wolf House awake and fighting when The Lost Hero quest, as well as Hera were there which would have been rather problematic, but if he had been there asleep the whole time, and the wolves couldn’t wake him from  his goddess-induced coma, his body would have been there for any Roman demigods who were tested by Lupa in the months he would have laid there to find, Frank included, if the wolves hadn’t decided to kill him by then…?
