Pixelated Nooboos TS2 Finds

lilith’s eve skinblend’s lips extracted to apply over pretty much any skin you want 

I made these for personal use since switching to skins that didn’t have my favourite lips on and I didn’t feel like editing them. They match the tones for Evil Fantasy (all my skins really) and also Calm Depths by Dreadpirate. 

The tooltipper thingy also decided not to tooltip them the way I wanted so the colour names wont show. Sorry about that :(

nsw soft gold lips - what it says on the tin, just put their texture over one of pooklet's edited alphas and rec'd in a bunch of random colours. prob gonna do more soon

FLOOR TILE EDGE DEFAULT

featuring only the worse possible preview ever, could not contain my excitement to realise that this actually WORKS

if you are like me and constantly used CC hiders/honeywell roof trims to cover those ugly edges on the floor tiles, well NO MORE!! i was trying to default that floor you see (the checkered one) i defaulted the wrong one but whatever, dl that here!

and found the resource for the edge instead. see below for the original maxis one and how it looked,

i recoloured it with just a flood fill white, i really hope you all enjoy this!

I’m a little nervous to share this! I’ve been toying with the idea for over a year to create my own hair textures, but it’s not as easy as it seems! I feel like I’ve finally come up with one I like and will use regularly.

Texture comes with a blend of Remi’s textures, Io’s extracted textures, Sunshine texture, and Lilith shine. Only straight textures currently, I'm still testing a wavy one that I think I like so far.

Small update! Added in a tiny bit of pooklet texture. I think it ties it all together nicely. Links have been updated.

My replacement does not affect original drafting table texture, however I've edited TXMTs to make it less shiny. My new recolours will work for original table as well.

*Note: transparent glass shown in the main pic is a new subset hidden inside the worktop. It has some some blending issues with the drafting paper, glass seems to overlap the drawing - just so you know.

*Note to 🏴‍☠️ UC users: if Drafting Table in your game is not recolourable, try replacing mesh default with this (SFS), it's almost a full clone, only without the main texture, so it's compatible with texture defaults.

It requires University EP - I replaced effect names in Str resource with invisible effect from Uni. /Previous version is also included.

⚠️This mod requires Color Traits created by Epi @episims AND Trait Globals by @picknmixsims to work!

As all color trait mods, it makes the suitcase appear in Sim's favourite color (one of 12), if color trait is present in Sim's inventory. Grey is the default shade. You can choose between original suitcase or hardshell suitcase.

🔺Conflicts:

Pets and toddlers on Vacation by @lamare-sims - Suitcase mod needs to load AFTER Lamare's mod (add "zzz" suffix prefix to the filename to make it load last).

BV suitcase texture replacements are not compatible with this. Also, modern default will clash with objects that use original Eaxis suitcase texture.

Covers for my Cellphone DR

I currently have many teens in my game, which inspired me to make these 20 new covers for my cellphone default. They hopefully allow even wider self-expression!

Energy Gain Determined by Aspiration Level

I hate how cheaper beds give less energy than more expensive ones, so I've used the same energy gain for any bed mod by Marhis for the longest time. But recently, I've started to feel like it's too cheaty. It makes my sims always sleep like logs!

So I came up with a solution that adds variation for all beds alike.

This mod entirely ties the energy gain to the sim's aspiration level. The lower the level is, the slower the energy bar will fill and vice versa; sims with their aspiration level well on the green side or above likely wake up refreshed.

Makes sense to me that happy sims sleep better than those close to the aspiration failure! The scale of the energy gain is about the same as between the cheapest and the most expensive maxis bed, so it's still well balanced too.

Just like Marhis' mod, this mod also makes children gain energy at a slower rate than older sims, to prevent them from waking up too early. Their aspiration level still affects the energy gain but the effect is smaller.

The piano requires Argon's instrument hack for the perform interactions to work properly. When a sim plays it the screens lit up and display custom animated graphics that I made for them.

The floor speaker from the set 066 is stackable. The wall one from the same set functions as a stereo, not as a community lot speaker.

Valorant Default Replacement for SSX3

I wanted something e-sports worthy instead of pixelated snowboarding. So, this happened.

256x256 frame size

The game view was cropped before resizing for better quality

No very noticeable English text (it got shrunk)

Spoken English was tuned down or muted

To make the last bit easier, I added background music to all scenes (from Valorant OST). I also edited the sharpest effects and rapid shooting to be much more subtle so that the game is less adrenaline-inducing to listen to. That being said: if you get easily triggered by the sounds of firearms, this default isn't for you.

How to install the default:

Put the .package file in your Downloads folder

Put all the .avi videos in \TSData\Res\Movies\Games\SSX of the BASE GAME* directory of your TS2 installation (under Program Files). Don't delete the .movie files from there.

Put the ssx.ini file from the .ini Replacement folder in \TSData\Res\Movies\Games\INI of the BASE GAME directory of your TS2 installation (under Program Files). Let the file replace the old ssx.ini file.

*The default won't work if you put the files into your latest EP/SP! The default won't work either if you rename the .avi files.

How to uninstall:

Delete the .package file from Downloads

Delete the .avi videos from \TSData\Res\Movies\Games\SSX

Put the ssx.ini file from the .ini Backup folder in \TSData\Res\Movies\Games\INI Let the file replace the modified ssx.ini file.

Nenps Fish Scales as Mermaid Overlays

I've done my own take of mermaid overlays before, but! Then @angelapleasant shared the textures for some of @weepingsimmer's recolors of Nenps fish scales, and these are so so beautiful.

Angelapleasant mentioned that the textures had some seams on TS2 body though, so I went and fixed them. They're still far from being pixel perfect, but I find them acceptable now.

I made all frames share the same textures and paired purple scales with blonde hair, turquoise with brown, red with red, and blue with black. I also made a new grey-ish scale recolor for grey hair.

The file comes in two versions: with or without a sharp teeth mask that I've gotten from these overlays by @withlovefromsimtown.

The files are compressed. As mermaid overlays always, these are meant to replace the mermaid scale overlay by @midgethetree and be used together with their mermaid mod.

⚠️ If you already downloaded angelapleasant's version or don't like my choice of color combinations, their version of the overlays is now updated with my edits of the textures but with the color combinations they originally used. Their upload also includes matching face scales as layerable blushes.

First option: umbodylabcoat (TM-EM) replaced with an open lab coat, to match my ufbodylabcoat default. It's a mashup of @deedee-sims 3t2 Esmeralda's Coat and @mdpthatsme 4t2 Pants Dress, with textures by Trapping, Rope and Epi (who made the white coat texture, and also made pockets! 🤩). Around 4K polys (for reference, Maxis lab coat has 2K); has fat morph, but no preg morph.

Second option: umbodylabcoat (TM-EM) and ufbodylabcoat (TF-EF) replaced with MDP 4t2 Doctors and @moyokeansimblr age conversions, with new recolours by Epi. Original default is by @lottie-sims but it was for adults only, and replaced only one (out of two) of the AF recolours. Meshes are 4-5K polys and both genders are included in the same package. All morphs.

Download v2: SFS | MEGA

An addon to the replacement above: umbodymadscientist (AM-EM) and ufbodymadscientist (AF-EF) replaced with another recolour of 4t2 Doctors, which is *checks notes* 4t2 GP07 Scientist. Also by Epi! This one is referenced to the labcoat replacement (meshes and shoes texture), so you will need that one (v2).

And finally: two versions of the same mod, by Epi. Originally, the two recolours of the lab coat were assigned to sims according to their career level. With this mod (both v1 and v2), sims on the Medicine career will use one of the recolours (green top/shirt if you use these defaults), and sims on the Science career will use the other one. The alternative version of the mod (v2) also makes theorists in the Science career use the mad scientist outfit. Apparently, theorists used to wear some leather jacket? Thank you, Maxis.
