IMCO Pipe Lighters
Over a century ago there were two major manufacturers of cigarette and pipe lighters. The first and the oldest was Ronson, which still makes lighter products to this day. In most stores we see these in the flints and lighter fluid, and in the tobacco shops and specialty stores you will see the pipe lighters.
The second oldest from 1907 was the IMCO company that started out designing and producing buttons for military uniforms. After World War I there wasn't much need for the buttons so the company switched to making cigarette and pipe lighters. The first lighters from this company were made from the empty shell casings of the bullets. This was not only creative and inventive but a first step in recycling what was already around.
To this day the IMCO company still makes lighters and the IMCO pipe lighter is one of the popular brands you will find on the market. Backed by years of being in the service of making these fine pipe lighters they know how to make a quality unit. The pipe lighters that IMCO makes are refillable which means they will last a lifetime. While their prime lighters are all made for cigarettes they are quickly branching out to produce more designs of pipe lighters as the trend continues to grow.
Cheers!
