i always see people say stuff along the lines of “i want to be a teenage girl forever” and i absolutely don’t. obviously it’s personal preference, i’m not coming after anyone. but i absolutely hate my teenage years, obviously that’s a personal problem but, i can’t wait to be old which probably will change one i actually am a adult. but for now i can’t think of anything more i’d want to be. i hate being a teenager. stupid teenage drama with no end point, awkward stages, trying to figure yourself out, figure what group you belong to, tely on your parents, be stuck. i don’t hate school, i actually enjoy it for the most part but that could be added onto the list on why teenage years kick ass. but not for me. but the thought of being able to depend on yourself, get away from family, actually start your own life. find a profession that fits you, done with stupid dramas. obviously being an adult will be difficult, having to keep yourself on your feet and all that. but i just really crave the dependency of myself. i think that’s a big part of why i cannot stand being a teenager. i hate having to depend on my family, i want to fend for myself. be alone. once i move out i’ll probably cut my whole family out of the picture along with most friends. i don’t really have alot of friends i care to keep around in the future, all meaningless connections just so you don’t look like a loser. i have maybe three true friends i’ll keep up with once i’m on my own but for the most part i just want to be by myself, alone, depending on nobody but me and my own actions. i can’t fathom the want of staying a teenager for the rest of my life. constantly being involved in meaningless drama? fake friendships? yeah, no thanks!
