guys i get to talk to my rabbi for the first time in almost 2 years im so excited. im scared to actually go to any meetings for my congregation bc of my exes but im excited to actually get to be in Jewish community again even if its only sometimes.

I was so excited to talk to her. only for her to tell im not allowed to join :( because my exes would be "uncomfortable" and would feel "unsafe" YOU KICKED ME OUT OF MY HOUSE. HOW COULD I POSSIBLY MAKE YOU FEEL UNSAFE. officially kicked out of Judaism.

people talk about how its cool to get excommunicatrd from the church, but is it cool to get exiled from the mid sized city Jewish congregation? (over literal rumors and drama btw)

on a serious note this is actually really upsetting to me, and I cannot believe that in real human life this is happening. I was so excited. i cannot describe it to you. I had paid money, I spent days trying to schedule a meeting with this rabbi, just to be told im not allowed in. her "duty is to her congregation" I was apart of that congregation. I was forced out. and im being forced out again.

im gonna delete this later and also sorry if nobody cares!!!! but when I scheduled this meeting I could not imagine that she would actually cite "interpersonal issues" as the reason im not allowed to join.
